My name is Alex Barrie; a physical coach and complementary therapist and I’ve taught hundreds of people how to overcome pain and restriction by themselves, allowing them to regain control of their lives.
The One Body philosophy is “You Only Get One; Use It Or Lose It”; my goal is to educate my clients in how their bodies operate, help them to understand the cause of the pain and provide the knowledge and tools to manage their own physical pain and restrictions without the need for regular therapy.

There’s nothing worse than a nameless pain haunting your days, sometimes getting progressively worse and preventing you from doing the things you want to do with your time. I feel it is my mission to assist as many people as possible regain control of their lives.
One Body offers both online and face-to-face services.

ONE BODY’S SERVICES
The Keep Recovery Simple programme is the product of years of experience working with individuals to help alleviate their pain and restore control to their lives.
It allows clients to access online resources which guide them through routines designed to help alleviate the cause of pain, from the comfort of home or using tools at the gym. It’s a guided, self-help service, which includes frequent check-ins with myself.
Keep Recovery Simple is ideal for those who are physically able and/or are looking for a more affordable option.
1:1 SESSIONS
One Body also provides a face-to-face service for those who are experiencing severe pain, such as those who are struggling to sit or stand. This service is also recommended to those who have a physically demanding long-term goal such as entering a physical competition, like a marathon.
Face-to-face sessions allow a more specialised, personal and in-depth service, which can produce great results for clients. These sessions can also include physical therapy to accelerate said results.
WORKSHOPS
One Body runs frequent, specialised workshops in the local area. These are perfect for those who are looking to expand their self-care toolkit on subjects such as avoiding pain from prolonged sitting, injury prevention for physical activity such as running or lifting weights and/or how to use a foam roller correctly.
